Headings and summaries help navigation, but the complete text below governs the service.
1. Purpose and responsibility
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) forms part of the Terms of Service. It applies to customers, authorised users, customer content, applications, networks, and activity originating from or directed through a ShivHost service.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for configuring applications and virtual servers so that they cannot be used for abuse. You must investigate our reasonable notices and take timely corrective action.
2. Illegal, infringing, or harmful activity
You may not use a service to create, host, store, distribute, promote, or facilitate:
- Activity or content that violates applicable law, court order, or another person’s legal rights.
- Child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, exploitation, human trafficking, or credible threats of violence.
- Fraud, impersonation, phishing, deceptive financial schemes, stolen credentials, or unlawful sale of regulated goods.
- Copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights infringement.
- Malware, ransomware, botnets, credential theft, destructive code, or instructions primarily intended to enable unlawful harm.
3. Security and access abuse
You may not attempt or enable unauthorised access to accounts, devices, networks, data, or services. Prohibited conduct includes vulnerability exploitation without permission, password attacks, scanning that causes harm, interception, spoofing, evasion of access controls, denial-of-service activity, and operating compromised systems.
Good-faith security research is allowed only when you have the system owner’s written authorisation, use a safe testing scope, avoid personal data and service disruption, and comply with applicable law.
4. Messaging, traffic, and network abuse
- Do not send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, address-harvesting traffic, or messages that hide or falsify the sender.
- Do not operate an open relay, open proxy, public recursive resolver, traffic amplifier, or similar service that is predictably usable for abuse.
- Do not manipulate network identity, headers, routing, referrals, clicks, or traffic to deceive users or other systems.
- Do not use a service to evade another provider’s suspension, blocklist, rate limit, or abuse control.
Sending email from a hosting service may require a separately approved configuration or the use of an authorised email platform.
5. Resource and platform abuse
You may not consume resources in a way that materially degrades service for others, bypass a plan limit, resell a service without permission, run unauthorised mining or high-intensity workloads, or use shared hosting for persistent background processing that belongs on an agreed server plan.
Automated traffic, crawling, load testing, high-bandwidth distribution, public file mirrors, and compute-intensive workloads require prior written approval when they could materially affect infrastructure or third parties.
6. Abuse reports and enforcement
Report suspected abuse with the relevant domain or address, timestamps, a clear description, and evidence that can be safely shared to contact@skinsindiasolutions.in. Do not send passwords, full payment credentials, or unnecessary personal data.
We may investigate, ask for remediation, rate-limit, isolate, remove specific content when legally required, suspend, or terminate a service. We consider the severity, immediacy, customer history, legal obligation, and risk to others. Immediate action may be taken for active attacks, serious illegality, compromised systems, or threats to infrastructure.
We may preserve relevant records and cooperate with lawful requests. Where risk permits, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the problem. Repeated or deliberate violations may result in termination without refund for the affected period.
